A 8'x12' hair salon that had to incorporate a particular design style and offer a functional space for two occupants. The materials, furniture, fixtures and equipment used had to be linked to real suppliers and stores, preferably local.

Funktion Hair Salon is inspired by modernism, a movement based upon the idea that form should follow function. Bauhaus architecture’s characteristics include functional and geometric shapes, clean lines, lack of ornament, simple colour schemes, and basic industrial materials like concrete, steel and glass.
